Tiffiney Hill, LCSW

 

Tiffiney Hill is a licensed clinical social worker with experience working with adults to treat multiple mental health disorders including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and adjustment issues.

In addition, Hill teaches anger management skills, chronic pain coping skills, and techniques to heal from traumatic experiences. She has a passion for teaching skills that will ignite feelings of emotional resilience and strength.

In 2009, Tiffiney graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Master’s in Social Work. After that, she obtained her clinical licensure in 2015 from the Mississippi Board of Examiners for Social Workers.

Hill is currently licensed in MS, AL, and LA and is a 20+ year Active Guardsman serving in the Air National Guard in Birmingham, AL. In the same vein, Hill is a member of the American Legion (AL) in Laurel, MS, and Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Auxiliary in Hattiesburg, MS.

Likewise, Tiffiney has training and experience in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and different forms of CBT such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).

In short, Tiffiney creates a cathartic and compassionate space for individuals to heal while teaching skills that will cultivate perseverance.
