Aileen Hopkins Murphy, MS, LPC, IAADC, SAP, JD

Aileen Hopkins Murphy is a distinguished professional with over 20 years of experience in the field of mental health and addiction counseling. She is a graduate of Alabama A&M University, where she earned her BA in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Counseling. Additionally, she holds a Juris Doctorate of Law degree from Miles Law School.


Aileen specializes in substance abuse and co-occurring disorders, bringing extensive expertise in addiction counseling. Her international certification in addiction counseling underscores her
commitment to providing top-tier care. Beyond addiction, Aileen treats individuals with mental health needs, including trauma, anxiety, depression, conflict, and communication issues.

Throughout her career, Aileen has worked with a diverse population, including transitional youth,
children, adults, couples, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. She employs a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care, to empower her clients and support their journey toward well-being.
