My professional background also includes a decade of service with the Department of Veterans Affairs (2009–2019), where I worked as an eligibility counselor. This experience provided invaluable insight into the healthcare needs of military Veterans and their families.
My work with Veterans has given me a specialized understanding of the unique challenges faced by military personnel, Veterans, and their loved ones.

My educational background includes a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Montevallo and a Bachelor of Science in Social and Behavioral Sciences from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
